From repairing uniforms to reducing waste, we’re about building a stronger, connected community. 💙

🛒 Ooshie Swap & Drop-Off Day! 💙

Got a pile of spare Ooshies? Still chasing that one elusive character? 😅

Come along to Our Village today 6th August, 9:30am–12:30pm at St Matthew's Church Lounge, Garfield Road, Helensville.

Bring along: ✨ Your spare Ooshies to swap ✨ Any unwanted Ooshies you'd like to donate ✨ Your checklist if you're trying to complete a collection!

Our regulars will be bringing along their sets and duplicates for a bit of friendly trading, and we'll happily take any unwanted Ooshies to help local tamariki (and... ahem... maybe a few parents too! 😉) complete their sets.

As always, you're welcome to stay for a cuppa, a bikkie, and a chat while you're here. If you've never visited before, this is the perfect excuse to pop in and see what Our Village is all about.

Our Village - Northwest here for our community every Thursday 9:30am to 12:30pm. Come along any week (including school holidays) for school uniform drop offs/browse the racks or simply for a chat/cuppa and connection.

If you have any uniforms no longer needed: we have wonderful drop off points locally, we are super grateful for their support:

Harcourts Helensville - Licensed Agent REAA 2008 92 Commercial Road, 9am-5pm Mo-Fri.

Citizens Advice Bureau Helensville
16 Commercial Road, 10am-1pm from Tue-Fri.

Helensville Library and Service Centre
49 Commercial Road, 9-5pm Mon-Fri, and from 9-1pm on Saturday.

Rodney Community Thursday drop-in: Arwen Flowers during 10-12pm most Thursdays at the Council Meeting Room, 49 Commercial Rd, next to the library.

Setup for another beautiful morning of community connection 💙

🧺 Cloth nappy library
🧩 Kids play area with books, puzzles and more available in the cupboard — feel free to borrow and take home

We have loads of clothing for tamariki and local school uniforms available, and we’re always so grateful for the support from our community that keeps this space going.

If you have a little spare time on a Thursday morning and would like to give back locally, we would love some extra helping hands to sort, organise and help keep things running smoothly. Even an hour here and there makes a huge difference and is a lovely way to connect with others in the community 💙

There’s always a cuppa, good chats and plenty of laughs along the way.
