🫶 Our Village runs Thursdays 9:30 AM–12:30 PM, welcoming everyone to connect and support each other. We also have essentials available for a koha.

From repairing uniforms to reducing waste, we’re about building a stronger, connected community. 💙

You can come empty handed or bring a plate like this wonderful person that brought some donuts today... conveniently we grabbed the new strawberry doughnut latte coffees this morning too! An absolute match! 🍓🩷

Setup for another beautiful morning of community connection 💙

🧺 Cloth nappy library
🧩 Kids play area with books, puzzles and more available in the cupboard — feel free to borrow and take home

We have loads of clothing for tamariki and local school uniforms available, and we’re always so grateful for the support from our community that keeps this space going.

If you have a little spare time on a Thursday morning and would like to give back locally, we would love some extra helping hands to sort, organise and help keep things running smoothly. Even an hour here and there makes a huge difference and is a lovely way to connect with others in the community 💙

There’s always a cuppa, good chats and plenty of laughs along the way.

Fun morning as usual here!

Thanks to the recent donation of new toys from a local family, tamariki visiting today are loving them! 😍

Our Village is all about the little things making a big difference: connecting with each other, supporting through lifes challenges and most importantly having a laugh.

We keep it very casual here from crafting, chatting or playing/reading with the kids we have a little something for everyone in the community.

This Thursday, we are opening a little later at 10:30am and closing at 12:30pm.

I want to take a moment to say thank you.

To Helensville Mechanical; Your trusted Local Mechanic thank you for your support in helping us get uniforms to our local tamariki. Being a drop-off zone makes such a difference, and we appreciate every single item donated 🙏

To the lovely locals who have been helping with washing, mending, and ironing - it is beyond appreciated!!

And to everyone who has backed Our Village, myself, and our wonderful community - thank you. Please keep doing so in whatever capacity you can. This year I need to take a hard look inward and step back from giving so much of my time, and focus on our whānau for a while.

Last but definitely not least, a HUGE thank you to Iris, Nicola, and our regular ladies for keeping the kaupapa alive in 2026.

I will forever be grateful to you all 🩷

We are back into the weekly Thursday swing of things from today!

A huge thank you to Iris for taking on the responsibility of open/close, it is beyond appreciated!

We are locals here for coffee, connection, referrals and essentials for a koha: school uniform, clothing for tamariki and a free cloth nappy library lovingly managed by Cathy.

Can you help?

In search of towels and a dehumidifier to help a local out urgently.

Rain earlier today got in and soaked carpet and bed, we're trying to get it dry as best as possible and then suck the moisture out ASAP.
