We have heard an amazing update with our largest donation to date sent to Tonga last month!

We can not thank you enough for all your donations and support. We would not have been able to make this significant donation without you ❤

Ata marie whānau! After 2 years of collecting from our last huge donations to Primary Schools in Porirua, our latest donations have now left to the beautiful island of Tonga ~

From 2 years of collecting, we were able to donate over 60 boxes of textbooks, writing books, stationery and office supplies to help rebuild schools in Tonga. Thank you to all those who contributed and donations over the last couple of years; we wouldn't have been able to donate so much without your help 😊

Manuia le A*o Sāpati everyone! The team at Paper Grace would like to share our latest donation update witj you all! Our original plan was to send donations to Primary and High Schools within the Auckland region; however, we have been blessed with a meaningful opportunity that we hope will be able to contribute towards helping other schools in need.

As you all know, Tonga was recently affected by a tsunami and volcanic eruption and are currently rebuilding their beautiful country with the support from their strong people and neigbouring countries. With this in mind, The Paper Grace Project has decided to donate all stationery and supplies that were generously donated by you all, to our Pasifika brothers and sisters in Tonga to support the rebuild and return to school for those impcted families.

We will share more details soon, however in the meantime here is the BTS of packing all the stationery in preparatiom for our upcoming delivery. We would like to thank everyone for your support and time and we hope this small donation will help with rebuiling Tonga to it's full beauty once more. Alofa atu xx

Happy A*o Tona'i, we hope everyone is enjoying their weekend ~

Here is our update on TPGP after 7 months! Unfortunately, we were unable to raise enough funds to send donations to Samoa; HOWEVER this does not mean it will go to waste! We have decided to change our focus for the time being to low-decile schools in Auckland to receive our donated stationery while the current funds raised will be donated to elected schools to go towards school donations. It is unfortunate that we aren't able to send donations to Samoa at this time but we hope in the near future we will be ablw to achieve our goal!

That is a brief update of what is in store for TPGP for the next couple of months so be sure to keep an eye out for our next update on who will be receiving your wonderful donations!

Alofa atu and stay safe everyone xx

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! It has been a little while since we have made a post so we thought over the next couple of days we would give you an update on the team and also where we are at with donations because so much has happened since our last update!

Keighley has started a new role as a tutor in Supported Learning and has been teaching across the recent Lockdown and into the new year.

While Shivonne will soon be starting a new journey with her aiga this year, starting with a move to Australia! This move will not stop the Paper Grace Movement though! This will only on hiatus until Shivonne has settled and made plans on how to continue The Paper Grace Project in her new home ~

That is only a brief summary on where we are at, at the moment; TOMORROW we will be giving an update on all the donations and plans over the next few months so be sure to stay tuned!

We look forward to being able to support our local communities before the team begins their next chapter in 2022.

Alofa atu xx

✨ Story Time ✨

A few weeks ago in the lead up to the Talanoa Mai Event, I was privileged to join Pea & Asiata on the Blu Table to discuss who TPGP are and what our aim is for the Schools back in the Islands. During my conversation with Asiata, the subject of limited educational resources struck him personally as he is a product of the kid from the Outback in Samoa whose school could not provide the means to offer a wide range of resources. He then delved into his time in his early years and the basic necessities Schools were unable to financially provide.

From his childhood experiences, Asiata would visit Samoa regularly (up until Covid restricted him) and take Stationery for his Nieces & Nephews.

Thank you Asiata for the reminder that our work is still prevalent and needed for our future generation. We know for sure many other Pasifika Family members are doing the same for their Families back home.
