I think you will love Carrotmob, here's how it works:

In a Carrotmob campaign, businesses compete at how socially responsible they can be, and then a network of consumers spends money to support the winner. So if enough people in a community sign up, community leaders will be able to entice local businesses to make positive changes, and then the whole community shows up at once to spend money at

the winning business (which is hilarious). Also, they're building a global network so we can use the same idea to change the biggest companies in the world. If you join you can check it out, and at least find out when there are campaigns happening in your area.
