CMFI Auckland was blessed to have Pastor Sami and Radini Cinavou from Sydney, Australia, minister and share the Word of God with the church. Pastor Sami's message focused on the importance of the Holy Spirit in building a healthy, growing, and united church. He reminded us that a thriving church begins with individual believers who are committed to God's Word, walk in humility, and allow the Holy Spirit to work through their lives. Through obedience, prayer, unity, and honouring God's appointed leaders, the church is strengthened and positioned to receive God's blessing.

Key points from the message included:
Strong leadership contributes to a strong church.
True unity comes through obedience to God and understanding His Word.
Growth begins with each individual believer.
Believers should practice divine humility, forgiveness, tolerance, and live with joy.
Psalm 133:1–3 teaches that God blesses His people when they dwell together in unity.
To become more like Christ, believers must pursue purity and holiness.
The church should be a house of prayer.
Obedience to God's Word is the key to spiritual prosperity and blessing.
Unity is maintained through obedience to God.

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 20:20, Pastor Sami also spoke about honouring God's servants and trusting God's direction:
Be committed to fulfilling the assignment God has given you.
Believers are established in God's Kingdom through faith and obedience. Prosperity comes through submission to God and seeking Him in prayer before making decisions.

Today's sermon focused on The Call of God and the importance of recognizing and responding to God's purpose for our lives. We were reminded that God chooses people according to His grace and purpose, not according to worldly standards. Just as Jesus faithfully fulfilled the work the Father had given Him, we are also called to serve God faithfully and bring glory to Him through our lives.
A key message was that God has chosen us to do His work, and He will equip us for the calling He has placed upon us. We were encouraged to remain faithful, holy, diligent, and steadfast in our walk with God, trusting that He will complete the work He has started in us.

The sermon also drew connections to the following Scriptures:

1 Peter 1:15–16 – A call to holiness as God's people.
2 Timothy 1:9 – God has saved and called us according to His purpose and grace.
Hebrews 6:10–11 – God remembers our work and faithfulness in serving Him.
Galatians 6:9 – Encouragement not to grow weary in doing good.
Colossians 3:23 – Serving wholeheartedly as though working for the Lord.
Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Philippians 1:6 – Confidence that God will complete the good work He began in us.
Romans 8:38–39 – Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Hebrews 11:1 – The importance of faith in the life of a believer.
Hebrews 11:6 – Without faith it is impossible to please God.

The overall encouragement was to embrace God's call with faith, obedience, and perseverance, knowing that God is faithful to strengthen, guide, and sustain those whom He has called.

Today's sermon was based on Matthew 13:1-9 entitled:

"The Conditions We Allow the Word of God to Work Through Us."

The main message was about how we receive and respond to God's Word. We were encouraged to think about our expectations when coming to hear the Word and whether our hearts are open to letting it work in our lives.

A key reminder was the importance of spiritual nourishment. Just as we need food every day, we also need God's Word as our daily bread. We were encouraged to spend time in Scripture, soak ourselves in the Word of God, and be careful not to let our emotions distract us from what God is teaching us.
