Auckland Transport is introducing Mobility e-Permits, a new way to link a physical mobility parking permit to a vehicle's number plate.
Mobility e-permits are designed to make parking simpler and give permit holders greater confidence. By linking a permit to a vehicle, parking systems can recognise when the vehicle is eligible for extra parking time and other mobility parking concessions. This helps reduce the likelihood of receiving an incorrect parking fine.
The mobility e-permit is free and optional and does not replace the physical permit.

Beneath it, white text reads: "Mobility e-permit" and "Park with greater confidence. Your permit, matched to your vehicle for a smoother parking experience." An Auckland Transport logo appears in the top right corner, and an Auckland Council logo is displayed in the bottom right corner.
