Waimauku Lions

Waimauku Lions The Lions Club of Waimauku serves the local community with community events and fundraising to support individuals and groups.

We are part of Lions Clubs New Zealand, and the largest global service organisation in the world. Our business meetings are every 3rd Monday of each month (excl. December) from 7pm at the Bowling Club in Waimauku. Most months we also have a social meeting on the 1st Monday. Find out more by emailing us on [email protected]

This Lions Club was established in 1985. Many local people have bene

fitted from the Lions Club member support, which often involves rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in! We also provide financial assistance, as requested, to local groups such as the Motutara-Waimauku Scouts, Muriwai Surf Lifesaving Club, Girl Guides, as well as many organisations who rely on generosity such as West Auckland Hospice, St John ambulance service, Kumeu Volunteer Fire Brigade, Muriwai Volunteer Fire Brigade, local schools, and many others.
