National Zakat Foundation New Zealand Local Zakat for Local Needs In New Zealand, thousands of Muslims can and should be giving Zakat. They should be receiving Zakat.

At the same time Muslims across the country are in need and are held back by their financial circumstances. Our job is to connect Zakat givers and recipients so Muslims can give locally and directly to support people in need. In doing so, we can create a thriving, closer community. We’re the Zakat experts:

• We enable the collection and distribution of Zakat in New Zealand.
• We understand its

potential, but also the importance of giving correctly. So, we take our responsibility for handling it very seriously. We open doors and make the Zakat journey simple and personal, both for those who give it and those who receive it. Rooted in our faith and reflective of our modern times, we’re building a nationwide network of support. We’re the only platform with a national reach that enables Zakat to be given to Muslims who need support here in New Zealand; helping to get their lives back on track and unlocking the potential of those held back by their financial circumstances. As we enter the most blessed part of the month, we search for Laylatul Qadr, a time to embody the best of our faith. Whether it’s an extra moment in Sujood, a quiet act of kindness, or seeking sincere forgiveness, every small deed is magnified during this sacred window.
