As part of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Centenary Celebrations, we lovingly invite you and your family to a seven-week Parayanam of Tapovanam, offered at His Divine Lotus Feet by devotees across New Zealand.

Tapovanam, is the revered spiritual biography of Swami — chronicling His early years, His divine miracles, His teachings and His mission of Love, Peace and Self-Realisation. Through daily reading and reflection, we deepen our love, surrender and alignment with His eternal message.

🚑 Advance Cardiac Life Support Ambulance for Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSS IHMS), Puttaparthi

With Swami's guidance and grace, we received the Ambulance and offered worship to Sai Ganesha before its journey ahead.

Over the next few weeks, the Ambulance will undergo internal fittings and external signage before becoming fully operational. The final and formal offering is being planned for Swami's Birthday celebrations in November 2026.

✨ Ladies Retreat 2026 — A Beautiful Day of Devotion & Sisterhood ✨

Organised by Sri Sathya Sai Global Council New Zealand – Northern Region, our Ladies Retreat 2026 was held on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at Long Bay Beach, bringing together women from across our Sai family in New Zealand for a day centred on Swami's message: "When among Women, I am a Woman." 💛

The day beautifully reflected the theme — Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Women: Dignity, Strength and Grace.

Program Highlights:

🌊 Nagarsangkirtna Walk & Ganga Maiya Offering

From soulful meditation and yoga by the beach, to joyful performances by each Centre, to the moving Nagarsangkirtna walk and Ganga Maiya offering to close the day — every moment was filled with love, unity, and devotion. 🌸

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, performed, organised, and contributed to making this retreat such a memorable and spiritually uplifting experience. The love and togetherness shared by all the women of our Sai family truly brought Swami's words to life.

🙏 What a beautiful day at the 13th Peace Symposium 2026: Embracing Diversity – Building a Stronger Nation! 🙏

We were honored to represent the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council New Zealand at this wonderful event organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association New Zealand on August 8, 2026.

✨ Highlights from our day:
Over 120 women from diverse faiths, cultures and communities came together in the spirit of unity. Our colorful display showcased traditional sarees, dupattas, bangles and jewelry - and the joy on people's faces as they tried them on was truly heartwarming!

It was more than just clothing - it was a bridge of connection, conversation and friendship. 🌈

Over 25 Donations Collected at Blood & Plasma Drive 🙏🏾

​Today Saturday 08th August 2026, Sai Centre of Papatoetoe organized a community Blood and Plasma donation drive at the New Zealand Blood Service in Manukau today. Despite the winter weather and flu season challenges, the response was inspiring.
​
Through the combined efforts of our centre members, participants from neighboring Sri Sathya Sai Global Council- Northern Region centres, friends, and family, over 25 donations were successfully collected. Each donation of “Liquid Love” plays a critical role in saving lives and supporting patients in need across our health system.

​Thank you to everyone who stepped forward, braved the conditions, and gave the gift of life to those in our wider community. 🙏❤️

Guru Poornima Celebration — Sai Centre of Christchurch 🪔

On Thursday, 30th July 2026, the Sathya Sai Centre of Christchurch came together at the Quaker Centre, Waltham, to pay loving homage to our Revered Guru, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. 💛

The evening opened with the chanting of Ganapathi Prarthana, followed by the Gayatri Mantra.

Sr Teresa Davies warmly welcomed everyone and shared Swami's beautiful message on the meaning of Guru Poornima. Our Sai Youth and Sai Blossoms then touched every heart, reflecting on what a Guru means and the role a Guru plays in their lives. ✨

Vibrant bhajans were rendered in devotion to our Guru. The program drew to a serene close with silent meditation and Aarthi, before all attendees gathered for a lovingly prepared shared kai. 🍲

The evening overflowed with divine energy, togetherness, and heartfelt reverence for our Guru.

🌿 Love All, Serve All 🌿
In the same spirit, the Sai Centre of Christchurch also engaged in a beautiful seva project on Sunday, 26th July, at Kai for Community in Christchurch City. Members selflessly prepared and served sumptuous dishes to over 90 attendees that evening — putting Swami's timeless teaching into practice as a loving service to our Guru.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all who took part and made these occasions so special. 🙏
