We've just wrapped up our mobile sewing classes for term three!

Over the past couple of months, we held a total of 56 classes in Kฤinga Ora complexes in Mt Roskill, Howick and Flatbush. These sessions helped bring neighbours together to learn valuable new skills and get creative.

It was great to see everyone making practical everyday items like kids' and adults' clothing, picnic takers, wheat bags, tote bags and more! Thanks to everyone for making this such a fun project!

We couldn't have done this without the help of our volunteers and a big thank you to Kฤinga Ora - Homes and Communities for making all of this possible!

A reminder to enrol and update your details before midnight on Sunday, 25 October 2026 to be able to vote in this yearโ€™s General Election!

To receive your EasyVote card, make sure you enrol before midnight on Sunday, 04 October 2026. You can still vote without this but it can help make the voting process more convenient.

If youโ€™re not sure how to enrol or update your details, or if you have any questions, visit one of our free Voting and Enrolment Information Sessions. Alternatively if you're near Royal Oak, you can also visit our office and speak with someone from our team.
