Two weeks ago we held our very last meal and as sad as it was, due to the most amazing support we were able to provide a final meal that was a little bit special.

Huge thank you to who gifted us not only countdown vouchers but chocolates and chippies for everyone to take away.

Thank you to , Meatme, Lorri, Glenda, Jo and Flynn, and those who donated for your contributions to our final meal.

All we wanted was to be able to have a meal where there would be enough for all and for our whanau to be able to have a choice and because of everyone mentioned above we were able to do this. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

To our amazing team of volunteers thank you for your super hard work getting this across the line. Definitely was an easy one but we got there!!

There are so many people we need to thank for supporting TNCK over that last two years so we will be doing this over the coming weeks.

We are super sad to announce that after 2 years this Tuesday the 26th March will be our final meal service. This decision was out of our hands and if we could have it any other way we would. We’re sad but feel lucky to have one last meal to say our goodbyes and go through a box of tissues no doubt.

We would like to try and make this last meal a bit special but having not planned for this we are in a bit of a pickle. We have now closed our Givealittle but if you are in a position to donate a few dollars or maybe have something you can donate to our meal please feel free to dm us.

Such a lovely service on Tuesday evening! Super spoilt by our special friend Glenda who once again provided a vegetable side to add to our main. A lot of us take veggies for granted but for so many fresh vegetables aren’t an everyday occurrence.

Sorry busy week last week and we forgot to post!! A huge thank you to who had seen our guest numbers had risen and kindly donated cooked chicken to add to our meal to ensure we could get everyone fed.

Another busy night but thanks to our donors we made it through!! Big thank you to MeatMe (also known as Sam’s Chicken) in New Market who has been providing the meat we use weekly for over two years! If you are around Newmarket please pop in and support the team, they are truly amazing!!

So very happy for our super special friend Bronwyn Owens. We wouldn’t be where we are without the love and support we get from Bronwyn week after week. Last night we had 100 people turn up for kai. One young guy I spoke to was starving. This beautiful lady in the first photo is Glenda and without Glenda providing extra vegetables, custard and fruit and without our special friend Lorri providing vegetarian meals people would’ve missed out.

Times are truely tough for so many and without the extra support of our special friends, people would be going hungry.

We had such a busy service last week I forgot to take photos and post! Thank you to this dream team and our special friends Bronwyn and Katie for helping us on what turned out to be a huge turnout for us. We normally serve 70-80 but we had over 110 people show up and sadly a few missed out on the main and we are sorry.

If you are in a position to do so we have a donation link in our bio we are also struggling to get through each week but we do what we can thanks to everyone who supports us. We appreciate you all ❤️

Super lovely meal last night, has been so nice catching up with everyone after the summer break. Close to 80 people served so busy night for all! Big thanks to everyone who helps make happen ❤️
