The Trust’s objective is to enhance the quality of life for all those in the Mid Canterbury district dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement. ny people believe hospice is just a building, when in fact it is a philosophy of care. That philosophy extends beyond the physical needs of a person to their emotional, social and spiritual needs, and those of their family, as they live with a life limiting condition. Anyone living with a life limiting condition - e.g. heart failure, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, or cancer - can access and benefit from hospice services. The goal is to help people make the most of their lives; to live every moment in whatever way is important to them.

Rotary Cans for a Cause is back and you CAN help!

Food insecurity is a reality for one in five families across Aotearoa New Zealand. As we move into winter, the rising cost of living puts substantial pressure on our foodbanks.

Rotary Clubs across the country are stepping up, aiming to collect 1 million food items to support our communities in June with the Rotary Cans for a Cause campaign.

Join the Rotary Club of Ashburton Plains and donate non-perishable food items to help restock our local foodbanks.

During the first 2 weeks of June, you can drop off food items to the following collection points:
