Mid Canterbury Hockey is now calling for Expressions of Interest for our U18 Men’s and Women’s representative teams competing 5–11 July 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent Mid Canterbury on the national stage and be part of a competitive, high-performance campaign.

🌸 𝑭𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒊𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 🌸

As we prepare for the 2026 season, and thanks to our good friends at Mid Canterbury Rugby Union we're excited to be able to offer our members 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 female preseason fitness to help women across all winter sports build a strong fitness base. It includes two parts:

1️⃣ 6 week online summer challenge from 𝟖 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 - 𝟏𝟗 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 which involves weekly fitness challenges, motivation, an online group and spot prizes

2⃣ 5 week in-person boot camp from 𝟐𝟕 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 - 𝟐𝟒 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 with one session per week run by a qualified female trainer focusing on strength, fitness and injury prevention finishing with a boot camp party!

These are fitness only programmes (no contact) and a great opportunity to stay fit over summer and hit our new turf running when the club season starts 🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
