Good people of Arapuni, I need your help:
Last month I passed through your town whilst riding the Tour Aotearoa (Cape Reinga to Bluff). Somewhere between Arapuni and Waipapa, I came across this teddy bear lying face down in the mud and long grass on the side of the road. I picked him (her?) up, gave him a bath, and he’s spent most of the last month sitting pretty on my handlebars as my mascot. But some child (or adult) is missing this sweet bear, and in the spirit of Christmas I want to return him to his rightful owner. I would ask that this be circulated far and wide and if anyone has information about his origins, please message me directly. Thanks and merry Christmas to all.

Whoa, tonight's closure has been canned due to a problem at the asphalt plant. Please disregard messaging below. This work will be completed later in the month. So no SH1-Tamahere detour tonight, Friday 13 May.

We need one more night (tonight) to finish work at Tamahere so there will be another south-bound SH1 closure tonight, 7pm approx. to 6am. We lost time with a wet night earlier in the week and tonight will see all asphalting, line-marking and testing completed on the south-bound lanes. Detours are via SH26 and SH1B to Cambridge. Local property access will be maintained at all times.

Greetings all,
This page is a public page open to anyone who searches for Arapuni on Facebook.
I have been asked how people in the village can join the Arapuni Village Grapevine group to keep up to date with events etc.
The Grapevine is a closed group that you have to request to join.

✳️ Search for Arapuni Village Grapevine
And
Select join group.
Once the admin has approved your request you will be able to access both the page and the group.
I hope this helps.
