Don't be intimidated, we're not flash like Piha, just keen to keep people safe on our beach. Our clubhouse is on Takahe Street, but we patrol near the public toilets by the beach during the summertime. Chairperson Akesa Waitai-Ifopo

Nippers:
We have Nippers before and after the summer rush, every Sunday of the season at 10am until 12pm. We teach the Nippers basic lifesaving skills and try to get them comfortable in the water.

Kia ora e te iwi!

This Saturday 20th September, we are hosting our annual IRB Race - The 90 Mile IRB Classic ๐ŸŒŠ

The race kicks off at 12:00pm from Scotts Point and wraps up when the last team hits the finish in Paripari, Ahipara.

With about 200 people (participants + helpers) travelling along Te Oneroa a Tohe during this time, we wanted to give a heads up to all our beachgoers on the day. We will ensure to mindful of you all!
