It is the organization for empowering people through capacity building, income generating, research and development activities for sustainable growth. NISD believes that empowerment and inclusion of the people is possible only through the enhancement of knowledge, skills and attitude in the various specific areas. Under this fundamental belief, NISD deems energy in synergy, systematic, creativity,
research & innovation, transparency, participation, inclusion, partnership, sharing, caring, nurturing, capacitating, advocacy and networking. Whereas, keeping in mind for all around development of the society in the process of social development in coordination of several activities related to social work; to provide support to solve the problems of worldwide providing support for the development of financial, economic, social, cultural, educational and health sectors of the back warded individual and community to provide self support, self appreciation with the means and source for the empowerment; to provide support for the conservation of religion and culture to make every stage of the development balance, sustainable and transparent in environmental and to present every works and factual through the means of information and technology and to inspire the concerned stakeholders to determine the future strategy; henceforth the statute of this National Institute for Sustainable Development is enacted and also came into effect under the Organization Registration Act, 2034 BS.
