Warm Clothes Distribution Program – Humla

Subi Foundation Nepal successfully organized a warm clothes distribution program for 80 marginalized school children of Shree Dhumchmi Basic School, located in Sarkegad Rural Municipality, Humla. The program was conducted in the presence of school teachers, students, and parents, creating a meaningful and encouraging environment for the children.

Through this initiative, Subi Foundation Nepal aims to support education by ensuring that children from marginalized communities have access to basic school necessities, helping them attend school with confidence and dignity.

During the program, special gratitude and heartfelt appreciation were extended to Subi Foundation Nepal and its Chairperson, Ms. Sushila Shah, for their continued commitment to the welfare of children and education in remote areas of Nepal. Sincere thanks were also expressed to Nirnaya NSK, whose valuable support made this initiative possible.

Subi Foundation Nepal remains dedicated to empowering children through education and extending support to underserved communities across Humla.

🌱 Subi Foundation Nepal is excited to share an upcoming initiative that will directly support children in one of Nepal’s most remote regions.
With the generous support of Nirnaya “NSK” Tour for Education, we are preparing to distribute school uniforms to 100 students of Shree Dhumchmi Basic School, Sarkegad Rural Municipality–Ward No. 5, Humla District.
Nirnaya “NSK” (Nirnaya Shrestha) is a pioneer of Nepali hip-hop and a respected artist known for using music to inspire social change. Through his long-running Nepal Tour for Education, he has been visiting schools across the country, motivating students and providing books and learning materials—especially in rural and marginalized communities.
As a registered NGO working in Humla, Subi Foundation Nepal continues to focus on education, health, livelihood, climate change, disaster management, and community development. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn with dignity.

"When a child goes to school in the morning, he carries two backpacks."
The first is visible: filled with books, notebooks, pencils and his snack.

But the second one, no one sees it.
This is where her emotions lie: the joys, fears, insecurities and small successes of the day before.

In this invisible bag, there may be a smile from Mom, a few words from Dad, or perhaps tears from an argument before you leave the house.
Sometimes he is light, full of love, hope and trust.

Sometimes it's too heavy, loaded with sadness, loneliness, the feeling of not being heard, impossible expectations. That second bag says a lot more than any word.

Children speak with their eyes, with their gestures, with their silence. Just watch them with your heart, not in a hurry.

That second bag is still there It's changing everyday with each experience. And the one who truly loves learns to see it, even if it is invisible.

Exciting News from SUBI Foundation Nepal!
A productive meeting was successfully held between Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership (HELP) and SUBI Foundation Nepal to collaborate on supporting nearly 500 marginalized and needy students in Humla district.
Through SchoolinaBag program, students will receive school bags along with essential learning and hygiene materials, including English and Nepali copies, drawing books, hygiene kits, pencil sets, color pencils, pens, geometry boxes, and water bottles.
SUBI Foundation Nepal is delighted to join as a partner organization to help deliver this meaningful support to the children of Humla.
