New Episode: A Journey into the World of the Red Panda!

"मिलिजुली" को चौथो श्रृंखलामा हामीले लजालु र आकर्षक स्वभावका धनी 'हाब्रे' (Red Panda) को बारेमा विस्तृत जानकारी लिएर आएका छौँ। हिमालयको जैविक विविधताका लागि यो प्रजाति किन यति महत्वपूर्ण छ? यिनलाई कस्ता खतराहरू छन् र हामीले कसरी मद्दत गर्न सक्छौँ? जान्नका लागि पूरा भिडियो हेर्नुहोस्।

In the fourth episode of our educational series, Milijuli, we explore the life of the elusive Himalayan Firefox. Beyond their cute appearance, Red Pandas are vital indicators of a healthy mountain ecosystem. We dive into their behavior, the threats they face, and how youth-led conservation can ensure their survival.

We are excited to share a deep-dive conversation featuring the Nature Conservation and Study Centre (NCSC) team on the latest episode of the Think Wildlife Podcast!

Our colleagues Nishan Limbu (currently at Red Panda Network), Tujin Rai , and Nisschal J. Kunwar joined host Anish Banerjee to discuss the reality of grassroots conservation in Nepal.

At NCSC, we believe that science must be democratized. By training local communities to deploy camera traps and monitor their own forests, we aren't just collecting data—we are fostering long-term stewardship.

We are pleased to invite researchers, conservationists, academicians, students, and practitioners to submit abstracts for the BIO-RETHA International Conference 2026 on Himalayan Biodiversity – Red Panda and Thar.

🗓 Conference Dates: April 17–19, 2026
📍 Venue: Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, Khotang, Koshi Province, Nepal
📌 Abstract Submission Deadline: 29th March 2026 (15 Chaitra)

Join us in advancing knowledge and strengthening conservation efforts under the theme:
“Biodiversity – Red Panda and Thar: Guard them, Grow together.”

This conference provides a collaborative platform to share research findings, innovative practices, and conservation strategies focused on Himalayan biodiversity, particularly the Red Panda and Himalayan Thar.
