Save the Children in Nepal संगको सहकार्यमा सबल नेपालद्वारा सप्तरी जिल्लाको Khadak Municipality Saptari मा संचालित "सम्मुनति" कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत “स्वास्थ्य संस्था हरु बीच Learning Sharing तथा सम्मान कार्यक्रम” सम्पन्न भएको छ ।नगर प्रमुख जयप्रकाश चौधरीको प्रमुख आतिथ्यता तथा सबल नेपालका अध्यक्ष जुना गिरीज्यूको अध्यक्षतामा ग व्यवस्थित रूपमा सम्पन्न भएको छ ।
कार्यक्रममा स्वास्थ्य शाखा प्रमुख, प्रशासन शाखा प्रमुख, सबल नेपालका कर्मचारीहरू तथा नगरपालिकाभित्र रहेका सम्पूर्ण ११ वटा स्वास्थ्य संस्थाका प्रमुख तथा प्रतिनिधिहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।
कार्यक्रमको मुख्य उद्देश्य स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूबीच भएका सकारात्मक अभ्यास, अनुभव, सिकाइ तथा चुनौतीहरू साझा गर्दै स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रवाहलाई थप प्रभावकारी, उत्तरदायी र गुणस्तरीय बनाउने रहेको थियो। सोही उद्देश्यअनुसार सहभागी स्वास्थ्य संस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरूले आफ्नो संस्थामा भइरहेको सेवा प्रवाह, हासिल भएका उपलब्धिहरू, कार्यान्वयनका क्रममा भोगिएका चुनौतीहरू तथा सिकाइहरू प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए ।
यस प्रकारको खुला अनुभव आदानप्रदानले स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूबीच आपसी समन्वय, सहकार्य, समस्या समाधान र संस्थागत सुधारका सम्भावित अवसरहरू पहिचान गर्न महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्‍याएको छ। सहभागीहरूले एक अर्काका सफल अभ्यासहरूबाट प्रेरणा लिँदै आगामी दिनमा सेवा सुधारका लागि थप प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरेका थिए ।
कार्यक्रममा स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा निरन्तर योगदान पुर्‍याउँदै आएका खडक नगरपालिकाका सबै ११ वटा स्वास्थ्य संस्थाहरूलाई कदर पत्र सहित सम्मान गरिएको थियो । यस सम्मानले स्वास्थ्यकर्मीहरूको मनोबल अभिवृद्धि गर्नुका साथै आगामी दिनमा अझ समर्पित भएर सेवा प्रदान गर्न प्रेरणा मिल्ने विश्वास गरिएको छ ।
कार्यक्रमको समापनमा बोल्दै प्रमुख अतिथि तथा अन्य वक्ताहरूले स्थानीय तहको स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली सुदृढीकरणका लागि यस्ता Learning Sharing कार्यक्रमहरू निरन्तर आवश्यक रहेको उल्लेख गर्दै स्वास्थ्य सेवा नागरिकमैत्री बनाउन सबै पक्षबीच सहकार्य अझ सशक्त बनाउनुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभएको थियो ।
समग्रमा, यस कार्यक्रमले ज्ञान साझेदारी, संस्थागत सुदृढीकरण, स्वास्थ्यकर्मीहरूको उत्साह अभिवृद्धि तथा गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रवाहमा सकारात्मक प्रभाव पार्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ ।
सबल नेपाल र खडक नगरपालिका बीचको सहकार्यमा समुदायस्तरमा गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवाको पहुँच विस्तार गर्ने प्रयास निरन्तर जारी रहनेछ ।

Sabal Nepal is proud to participate in the 9th International Women’s Trade Expo 2026, organized by Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal at Heritage Garden. With the support of WHH Nepal - Welthungerhilfe under the NPL 1082 project, Sabal Nepal in Siraha and MCDC in Saptari are jointly promoting women-led enterprises and local products. At the expo, Surf detergent and bamboo-based products are being showcased, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening sustainable livelihoods and market opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
We were honored by the visit of Sabina Kafle (PM B***n Shah’s wife), whose encouragement continues to inspire and motivate women entrepreneurs.

सेभ द चिल्ड्रेन तथा SIDA को सहयोगमा सबल नेपालद्वारा मधेश प्रदेशमा संचालनमा रहेको बाल अधिकारको लागि नागरिक समाज सवलिकरण परियोजनाको परिचयात्मक कार्यक्रममा नीति तथा योजना आयोगका उपसचिब श्रीमती रंजिता साहद्वारा मन्तब्य ब्यक्ग्त गरिदै । उक्त अबसरमा मधेश प्रदेश गृह, संचार तथा कानुन मन्त्रालय, स्वास्थ्य तथा जनसंख्या मन्त्रालय, बन तथा बाताबरण मन्त्रालय, खेलकुद तथा समाज कल्याण मन्त्रालय, रास्ट्रिय बाल अधिकार परिषद, शिक्षा तथा संस्कृति मन्त्रालय, बाल अधिकारका लागि नागरिक समाज संजाल लगायतको प्रथिनिधिहरुको सहभागिता रहेको थियो .

Imagine a school where students struggled every day due to a lack of basic sanitation facilities. There was no safe drinking water, toilets were inadequate, and handwashing was not practiced regularly. For many girls, especially during menstruation, attending school became difficult, uncomfortable, and sometimes impossible. Learning was often disrupted, and the school environment was unable to support health or dignity due to limited resources.
Today, that same place tells a different story.
Sabal Nepal, with support from WHH, has transformed Shree Janta Namuna Secondary School, into a model school through a system strengthening approach. The school now ensures safe drinking water, clean and accessible toilets with handwashing facilities, a biogas system for meal day programme, gas support for the science lab, and a kitchen garden that promotes both nutrition and practical learning.
Beyond infrastructure, improved management, awareness, and local ownership have created a system that sustains these facilities. Today, students feel safe, confident, and motivated, showcasing a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable school environment.

Sabal Nepal successfully launched the Nutrition Smart Community NSC Project in District from today onward. The project aims to strengthen inclusive and climate-resilient food systems and improve nutrition outcomes through coordinated actions across sectors.
The initiative will be implemented in Saptakoshi Municipality KANCHANRUP MUNICIPALITY Municipality, and Agnisaira Krishnasavaran Rural Municipality. Mayors from all four municipalities, government representatives, development partners, civil society organizations, and key stakeholders participated in the event. They expressed strong commitment to support the project and wished for its successful implementation.
This project is being supported by WHH Nepal - Welthungerhilfe and the project will focus on strengthening local leadership, improving multisector coordination, promoting nutrition-sensitive food systems, and supporting evidence-based decision-making in line with national nutrition priorities.
Sabal Nepal sincerely thanks all partners and stakeholders for their presence, encouragement, and continued collaboration. Together, we move forward toward a healthier, nutrition-secure community.
