१८ औं पुस्तकालय दिवसको अवसरमा भाद्र १४ का दिन हाम्रो पुस्तकालय: हाम्रो भविष्य भन्ने मुल नाराका साथ पोखरामा पनि भव्य रुपमा सम्पन्न भयो। पोखरा सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय, अमेरिकन कर्नर पोखरा तथा नेपाल पुस्तकालय संघ गण्डकी प्रदेश समितिको संयुक्त आयोजनामा गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रमको अध्यक्षता पोखरा सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालयका कार्यकारी सचिव अर्जुन श्रेष्ठ ज्यूले गर्नु भएको थियो। कार्यक्रममा पोखरा सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय तथा नेपाल पुस्तकालय संघ गण्डकी प्रदेशका पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्यहरु र नेपाल पुस्तकालय संघका उपमहासचिव किशोर सुवेदी र चित्रकला प्रतियोगितामा सहभागि कास्की जिल्लाका ३९ विद्यालयका ६७ जना विद्यार्थीहरूको एवंम विद्यालयका प्रिन्सिपल तथा अभिभावकको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो। प्रतियोगिताको
प्रथम स्थान , सोसल पब्लिक स्कूलका कक्षा १० का हुमबहादुर गुरुङ भएका छन्
द्धितिय स्थान Motherland Secondary School का प्रयास सापकोटा
तृतिय स्थान Kaski Modernized Academy - KMA सोफिया रसायली,

"हाम्रो पुस्तकालय : हाम्रो भविष्य" भन्ने आदर्श वाक्यका साथ भदौ १५ मा देशभर १८ औं पुस्तकालय दिवस मनाउन लागिएको सन्दर्भमा पोखरा सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय/अमेरिकन कर्नर पोखरा र नेपाल पुस्तकालय संघ गण्डकी प्रदेश समितिद्वारा कास्की जिल्ला विद्यालयस्तरीय खुला चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गरिएको हुँदा सम्बन्धित विद्यार्थीहरुको जानकारीका लागि यो सूचना प्रकाशित गरिएको छ ।
• प्रवेश शुल्क : निशुल्क
• विषयवस्तु : आफ्नो इच्छा अनुसारको विषयमा केन्द्रित रहेर तयार गर्न सकिने ।
• रङको प्रयोग- इच्छा अनुसार (Water, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel) मध्ये एक) सहभागीहरुले रङ र ब्रस आफै लिएर आउनुपर्नेछ । पेपर पुस्तकालयबाट उपलब्ध गराइनेछ ।
• पुस्तकालयमा बसेर तोकिएको २ घण्टाभित्र चित्र तयार गर्नुपर्नेछ ।
•विद्यालयबाट बढीमा २ जना विद्यार्थीहरु छनोट गरी सिफारिससहित पठाइदिनुहुन अनुरोध गर्दछौं।

On the occasion of International Youth Day, we, in collaboration with the Scrabble Club, proudly organized the Virtual World Youth Parliament program.

In this inspiring event, 10 passionate participants from across Nepal took on the role of representing different countries assigned to them. They showcased their in-depth research on crucial topics from youth involvement in economic growth and entrepreneurship to social development, environmental challenges, progress, and future needs.
The presentations were not only informative but also a powerful reminder of the role young people play in shaping a better, more sustainable world.

We recently organized a special session “Studying in the USA: Insights & Guidance”, where Dr. Samrat Thapa, Professor at The University of Lynchburg, shared invaluable advice!

For Students with U.S. Visas: He provided an essential overview of academic life in the United States, what to expect inside and outside the classroom, and practical tips to succeed from day one.

For Aspiring Students: He guided participants on how to plan their journey to study in the U.S., from choosing the right universities to navigating the application and visa process with confidence.

We successfully hosted a two-day workshop, “उद्यम शाला: Enhancing Entrepreneurial Acumen,” in collaboration with NUSAN, Small Grant at the Pokhara Public Library! 20 passionate youth (ages 18–30) from Gandaki Province came together to boost their entrepreneurial skills and build sustainable e-commerce ventures. The workshop featured Advocate Deepesh Ojha guiding participants through the legal essentials of e-commerce business registration, compliance, trademarks, and a Training of Trainers (TOT) segment to multiply impact and a session on where national athlete & marketing expert Ms. Shreya Khadka, who introduced digital marketing, branding, AI tools for efficiency, and ethical AI use in Nepal. Ms. Bhawana Bhandari and Ms. Prakriti Dhakal led the session.
This workshop empowered youth to innovate, lead, and grow their digital businesses sustainably. Here’s to a brighter entrepreneurial future in Gandaki!

We successfully organized a one-day Math Scrabble Orientation for mathematics teachers from across the Kaski district, in collaboration with the Council of Mathematics Education, Kaski.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from 60 dedicated math educators, who explored innovative and engaging ways to make learning math more interactive through the use of Math Scrabble.
