Sustainable Agriculture Development Program (SADP Nepal) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2010 with the mission to empower rural communities through sustainable farming practices. Our programs place women at the heart of organic agriculture, recognizing their vital role in ensuring food security, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
SADP Nepal supports women farmers with training in organic farming, home garden development, and climate-resilient practices, while also providing access to improved seeds, livestock, and cooperative networks. By strengthening women’s skills and leadership in farming systems, we enable them to increase household income, improve family nutrition, and contribute to community decision-making.
Through these efforts, SADP Nepal not only promotes sustainable agriculture but also advances women’s empowerment and social inclusion—helping build resilient, self-reliant farming communities across Nepal.
