Right4Children

Right4Children To become an effective and respected NGO in the development sector known for its high quality programmes and practices of sustainable independence.

Right4Children is a Non-government Organisation (NGO), based in Pokhara, Nepal creating a life for marginalized and stigmatized children, young people, and mothers in Nepal where they can exercise their rights and voice to reach their potential. Our vision is for a life in which marginalized and stigmatized children, young people, and mothers can exercise their rights and voices, and reach their

full potential. Our mission is to assist children, young people, and mothers who have been obstructed, to develop and live their life, and to realize the change they have always desired. Our Objectives:

In partnership and with the full participation of the beneficiaries themselves, design and execute powerful, innovative and exemplary programmes and services that are RIGHT for the most disadvantaged and marginalized children, young people and mothers in Nepal. Together with the voices of the children, young people and mothers we work with, we provide best-practice examples to create and build strong awareness and advocacy platforms, and educate people at all levels to realize long lasting, sustainable change in Nepal. Our projects fall into three categories: public health, education and child protection. For more detailed information on our current projects and programmes please see our website: www.right4children.org

What sets us apart from other Non-government Organizations (NGOs) is our unique philosophy that facilitates and enables beneficiaries to take responsibility and ownership of their own services through working in partnership with Right4Children and our main stakeholders (who in turn have a responsibility for the running and success of each project) through our 'GiveBack' scheme. Under this scheme beneficiaries can give back to the organization through wealth, wisdom or work, known as our www.giveback philosophy. The second part of our unique philosophy is that of ensuring the long term sustainability of our projects and services through funding coming not only from external, short term sources, but from local income sources through a local commercial business, including Fursekhola Farmhouse, and Pavilions Himalaya end 2014. But overall, our philosophy is to do things RIGHT for children, and thereby ensure their RIGHTS are recognized and met.

Back in February, Right4Children facilitated an Expressive Art Therapy Training in Pokhara—creating a space where creativity became a pathway for healing, reflection, and connection.

Even today, the impact continues in the way participants engage with their communities and support emotional well-being.

We’re revisiting a few beautiful moments from those days 🎨

Marking a meaningful milestone, the Child Friendly School Follow-Up Project was successfully handed over to Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality on 31st March 2026.

Through years of collaboration, this initiative has strengthened child-friendly learning environments, empowered teachers, and nurtured student leadership. As the project transitions to local ownership, we celebrate the shared commitment to sustaining and building on these achievements for the future of children.

Under the SIQAEE Project implemented by Right4Children, Child Club members are turning their ideas into action through their quarterly magazine.

The magazine proudly showcases students’ drawings, articles, poems, messages, and awareness content — all created by the children themselves. It is more than just a publication; it is a platform where young voices are heard, creativity is celebrated, and leadership begins to grow.

Through this initiative, children strengthen teamwork, build confidence, and learn to express their thoughts and perspectives in meaningful ways.

🌟 Padam Shines on the Global Stage! 🌟

Our very own Padam showed incredible talent and determination internationally! On January 24, 2026, she ran 100 km in Hong Kong among 3,000 participants (including 581 women) and won the Golden Trophy 🥇 after 14 hours and 12 minutes of sheer endurance.

Just a week later, she conquered the Gurkha Trailblazer, completing 12 km in 1 hour and 9 minutes, earning 2nd place among 250 runners! 🏃‍♀️💨
