We organized a opening ceremony on 21 September 2026 for 19th Batch of Training program at our Women Empowerment Center Ghachowk.

We warmly welcomed all the amazing women from different areas giving them a second opportunity to learn skills that lead to financial independence.

Their full time free tailoring training will continue for 2 to 3 months. They will have an opportunity to learn new skills with daily meals, training materials & counseling sessions.

After completion of the training they will also be eligible for micro loans to start a small business.

Our gratitude; as always to our Charity partner Namaste Foundation Netherlands & Hilde Bleijswijk for this partnership over 1.5 decades in helping to transform the lives of underprivileged & single women of Nepal.

Rasuwa Flood Relief Update

Today, we sent another Nrs 800,000 to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. This is our third donation, making a total of Nrs 2,000,000 so far. We couldn't have done this without our close partnership with Namaste Foundation-Netherlands. We are working with the government’s One Door Policy to make sure the relief reaches those who need it most.

We hope this support helps provide basic necessities to the flood victims and brings some comfort to their lives.

A big thank you to our partner charities, donors, volunteers, and everyone who has supported us. Your help and cooperation have made this possible.

With gratitude,

Rasuwa Flash Flood Victim update: We just doubled down on our contribution.

Today’s deposit of Nrs 700,000 marks our second contribution to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, bringing our total to Nrs 12,00,000 (in coordination with Namaste Foundation-Netherlands)

But numbers don’t tell the whole story. While the funds are important, we’re also working to provide food, blankets, medicine, and essentials to the villages that need them most in close coordination with the local government and institutions who are working in ground level.

This is a team effort. To our partners, donors, and every single person who has asked, “How can I help? This is your impact in action. Thank you for being part of this.

Regards!

"Our Financial Contribution of Nrs 500,000 to recent Flash Flood Victims of Rasuwa District"

We are heartbroken by the recent flash floods in Rasuwa District, which have tragically caused many casualties, left thousands missing, and severely damaged homes, hydropower projects, transportation infrastructure, and communities along the Trishuli River.

In these difficult times, we stand firmly with the people of Rasuwa. Today, with the generous support of our partner Namaste Foundation-Netherlands, we have contributed Nrs 500,000 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

This donation is only the first step. We are actively planning to provide food, clothing, medical supplies, and other urgent aid through government agencies and local partners. Every resources has and will be utilized towards the beneficiaries in a best practical way to create a positive change.

Since June 2003, Namaste Community Foundation has been devoted to uplifting underprivileged children, women, and marginalized communities through programs in education, health, and livelihoods. Every year; we have actively responded our helping hands to various natural disasters including the earthquake, covid care, flood victims, etc. and had offered various support wherever it’s needed most.

We sincerely thank our partner charities, donors, volunteers, well-wishers, the Nepal government, local authorities, advisory committee, staff, and board members. Your unwavering support and collaboration have been essential to the success of our efforts.

With deep appreciation, we thank you all.

We know this is hard to hear, and it might be easy to call it a “freak accident.” But we can’t ignore it. The glaciers and frozen ground around us are melting. Our planet is getting warmer, mostly because of what people are doing.

Just two days before the glacier fell, the ground here was the warmest it had been in two years. That heat probably melted the snow, filled cracks with water, and made the ice holding the glacier weaker.

This wasn’t unexpected. In 2023, the UN’s top scientists told us this would happen. They warned that as the Earth warms, frozen places like glaciers and icy tundras will become more fragile and risky.

We’re sharing this not to scare you, but because we care. And because what happens here affects all of us.

Unusual heat this year may have melted ice and thawed bonds that hold glaciers in place – leading to catastrophe

Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastation caused by the recent floods in Rasuwa and other parts of Nepal. To every family mourning a loss, facing an uncertain tomorrow, or rebuilding from the rubble, please know that you are seen, and you are valued.

Today, we cannot take away the sorrow, but we can bring compassion, solidarity, and practical support to those who need it most as far as possible.

Let us come together as a community and as a nation to uplift our brothers and sisters in Rasuwa. Your courage inspires us, and your strength gives us purpose.

WE CARE. WE SUPPORT. WE STAND TOGETHER.

Dear Beloved Supporters,

With hearts full of gratitude, we mark the 23rd anniversary of the Namaste Community Foundation (NCF) Nepal. What began in 2003 as the Namaste Children’s House, a modest shelter for orphaned children in Pokhara has grown into a powerful beacon of hope, transforming thousands of lives across Nepal.

Guided by compassion and powered by your unwavering support, we have achieved milestones that once seemed beyond reach:
• 106+ children rescued and nurtured
• 176+ children educated and guided toward meaningful careers
• 400+ women empowered with livelihood skills
• 25,000+ hearing‑impaired individuals treated free of charge
• Disaster relief for earthquakes, floods, and the COVID‑19 pandemic
• Enhanced schools with libraries, clean water, sanitation, and more

Your generosity has turned challenges into opportunities for healing and growth. Every success stands as a testament to the dedication of our volunteers, partners, and supporters like you.

As founder, I remain deeply inspired by your belief in our mission. Though judgments may arise, they pale beside the joy of a child’s educated smile, a woman’s newfound independence, or a family’s renewed hope.

Together, we have transformed compassion into action, and action into lasting change. Looking ahead, your ongoing support will light the path to even greater impact.

Thank you for 23 years of trust, love, and partnership. Let us continue igniting hope one life, one community at a time.
