INF Partnership For Rehabilitation PFR

INF Partnership For Rehabilitation PFR www.inf.org PFR provides training for people with disability in a wide range of skills including tailoring, shopkeeping, weaving and handicraft production.

Established in 1975, International Nepal Fellowship's Partnership For Rehabilitation [PFR] programme helps people with disability or stigmatising disease to integrate into their communities - socially, physically and economically. Working with local communities, PFR provides training and business opportunities to enable people with disability to become self-sufficient, and also develops other loca

l organisations so that they can provide similar services too. PFR employs people with disability, leprosy and HIV who produce handicrafts which are then sold through PFR's own shop. At its own farm, PFR also provides agricultural training for people with disability, so that they can learn how to keep different kinds of livestock and grow different types of crops. Based in INF's Green Pastures Hospital Complex in Nepal's second-largest city Pokhara, PFR is one of the sections of INF's Kaski District health and development programme. If you would like any further information about the work of PFR and how you can help, you are most welcome to contact PFR's Manager Bishnu Giri at:
