MECT Volunteers MECT is a voluntary youth organization from Pokhara. MECT is intended to help achieve the millennium

Since 2009, MECT has planted more than 3000 peepal trees with the help of Bandobasta and Trees for Cities. MECT has been concentrating its programs on marginalized indigenous communities where its need have been felt the most. Till date, MECT has successfully educated and reached more than 1000 youths and mobilized more than 700 volunteers while organizing different green exhibitions, tree plantation campaign, green-entrepreneurship development workshops and water-health workshops.
