The Rotaract Club of Pokhara University invites you to participate in a nationwide Short Video/Reels Competition — a platform to share stories, raise awareness, and inspire early detection. 💪

✨ Theme 2025: “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters.”

Content Focus Areas:-
👉Importance of early detection and regular screening
👉symptoms, Risk factors and preventive measures for breast cancer
👉Role of family, community, and healthcare workers in patient support
👉Encouraging self-examination and breaking stigma around breast health

🎗️ October is celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This year’s theme is “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters.”

With 2.3 million new cases each year, breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, representing 1 in 8 cancer cases and a quarter of all cancers in women. Tragically, 70% of breast cancer deaths occur in resource-limited settings.

Roughly half of all occur in women 👩 with no specific risk factors other than s*x & age. That is why, early screening & diagnosis + regular checkup of symptoms 👇 is crucial!

Let’s come together to spread awareness, encourage proactive steps, and ensure no one fights this battle alone. Together, we can make a difference! 💪🏽
