It was a wonderful birding morning at Fewa Wetlands. A few ducks are still present, including some winter visitors, and a rare passage migrantโ€”the Falcated Duckโ€”made the day truly special. Thanks to all participants, and see you next Saturday !!

On the occasion of National Wildlife Week 2083, an interaction meeting was successfully organized by the ACAP Headquarters team in collaboration with Pokhara Bird Society. The gathering served as a meaningful platform to celebrate our shared commitment to biodiversity conservation and to strengthen coordination for the protection of bird species and their habitats in the region.

The discussion emphasized the importance of awareness programs and the promotion of bird tourism as effective tools for conservation. We look forward to continued collaboration with the ACAP team in the upcoming fiscal year, working together towards sustainable conservation goals.

It was a wonderful birding morning today! In just 1.5 hours, we recorded a total of 49 species. Many birds were seen in full breeding plumageโ€”some busy building nests, others feeding their chicks, and several summer visitors have already returned to the valley. Thank you to all participants for making the session so enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you again next week!
