“Celebrating Abilities, Not Disabilities” 💙

A day filled with joy, laughter, sharing, and meaningful connections!
UniCoN organised a fun fair at Sishu Bikas Kendra, Pokhara bringing children, parents, teachers together to celebrate their abilities, express themselves, share experiences, and enjoy moments of happiness and friendship.

Beyond the fun and celebrations, the event was a reminder that every child has unique strengths, talents, and potential. When we create inclusive spaces where every child feels valued, respected, and included, where everyone has the opportunity to shine.

We believe inclusion is not just about participation. It is about creating spaces where every child belongs, every ability is celebrated, and every smile matters. 💙

“We lost everything in the flood, and now we are trying to rebuild from zero. There was no one to support us or our children during such a difficult time. But then UniCoN came forward to support us, and that has given us new hope.

We now believe that one day, we will be able to stand on our feet again, rebuild our school, and recover from this loss. UniCoN’s support has made us feel that we are not alone in this journey.”

When floods swept away their school, the headmaster didn’t give up. Today, classes continue in a rented space, even though nothing is left of the old building. 🙏

UniCoN has stepped in to support these children and keep their learning going.💙
