𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟴𝟯 – 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟰 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

On the 4th day of wildlife week, GreenFam Nepal in collaboration with SAFE Nepal, Free students union, Tribhuvan University Institute of Forestry, Pokhara and all the green organizations of IOF successfully completed the butterfly museum visit and identification program. The session was indeed fruitful, knowledgeable and interesting as it highlighted the ecological importance of butterflies in our Ecosystem.

GreenFam Nepal, in collaboration with other green organizations, organized an informative and interactive session on snake handling and identification, an essential step toward wildlife conservation and ensuring safe coexistence between humans and wildlife.

Participants gained insights into the diversity of snake species, their role in maintaining ecological balance, and learned proper, responsible handling techniques that are crucial for conservation efforts and raising public awareness.

GreenFam Nepal proudly marked the beginning of National Wildlife Week 2083 with a successful Flag Hoisting Ceremony followed by a cleanliness drive across the campus area and Tutunga Park.

Starting the week with action, we emphasized that maintaining a clean environment is the foundation for wildlife conservation and biodiversity protection.

Forests are the heartbeat of our planet—supporting biodiversity, sustaining livelihoods, and strengthening economies. This year’s theme, “Forests and Economies,” reminds us that healthy forests are essential for a thriving future.

As wildfires continue to threaten these vital ecosystems, protecting our forests has never been more urgent. Together, we can raise awareness, prevent forest fires, and safeguard nature for generations to come.

On the 14th of March, in collaboration with all green organisations of IOF, Pokhara. We, GreenFam Nepal successfully conducted an awareness rally on "Collaborative Action for Marbled Cat."

The joint effort of we all helped a lot in sharing knowledge and experience and encouraging people to conserve.

So, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the participants who attended the program to raise awareness for preserving this beautiful creature and making it effective.
