We are pleased to share that our General Secretary, Er. Mandakini Karki, will be speaking in two important parallel sessions at the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference 2026, New Delhi:
Building Resilient Infrastructure and Nature Positive Infrastructure.
As a strong advocate for green, climate-responsive and resilient engineering, she will bring Nepal’s perspective to these global discussions—highlighting genuine concerns around current infrastructure practices, lessons from Nepal’s recent climate and disaster experiences, and the need to better integrate resilience, biodiversity and ecosystems throughout infrastructure planning, procurement and delivery.
These two sessions provide an important platform to explore how engineering can move beyond conventional practice—towards infrastructure that is resilient, nature-positive and sustainable, particularly for climate-vulnerable developing countries such as Nepal.

It is a proud moment for us as our General Secretary, Mandakini (Mandy) Karki, represents Society of Consulting Architectural And Engineering Firms, Nepal on the global stage at the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference 2026 in New Delhi. Speaking on the Parallel Session "Building Resilient Infrastructure," she joins international experts in exploring how infrastructure can be designed and delivered to withstand climate, economic, and geopolitical shocks, a conversation of direct relevance to Nepal's own development challenges and more relevant to recent , , and disaster. As Managing Director of Soilt Test (P) Ltd.and General Secretary of SCAEF Nepal, her presence at this platform reflects the growing recognition of Nepali consulting engineering expertise within the global FIDIC community, and reinforces SCAEF's ongoing commitment to advancing professional standards and policy advocacy for the consulting engineering sector at home.
