Who we are? PDCN use the transformative ‘power of play’ to educate and empower children facing adversity. Through sports and games, PDCN helps children build essential life skills and better future. Why PDCN? Children’s from deprived families are often neglected in Nepal. Their voice remains unheard under the pressure of their parent’s expectations and poverty. They want to play together in safe e
nvironment. But, there is the question;
Where is the safe open place to play? Where is the time for deprived child to play? Where are right equipment’s to play? This is the unasked question to most of deprived children in Nepal. They are over-burdened with household duties and child labor to support their family. Child trafficking and abuse makes it even worst. As a result tension, depression, anxiety, loneliness, isolation is gradually affecting the holistic development of deprived children’s in Nepal. The recent earthquake in Nepal has made the situation even worst. Many children from deprived families or orphans have no childhood at all. It is the lost in their fight for existence.
