❤️Help us support children affected by the disaster in Nepal.

What happened in Nepal is terrible. The glacier collapse caused major destruction in communities downstream, leaving many families without homes and basic necessities.

For children in the affected areas in Nepal, the situation is particularly difficult. Schools have been destroyed or are no longer safe, and without a place to go, many children are at risk of dropping out of school.

We felt that there was something we could do.

We are doing a fundraising collaboration together with Build up Nepal and Tuki Nepal Society Sweden, to build temporary classrooms in safe locations.

These classrooms will give children a safe place to return to, but also help bring some normality back into their lives while the communities recover.

If you would like to help, any contribution is welcome. You can find the payment details in the flyer below. And if you cannot contribute, simply sharing this post can also help us reach more people.

All contributions will be accounted for, and a report will be shared when the project is completed.

Our projects within School For All are not impacted, this fundraising is only for the disaster in Nepal. Thank you again for helping us give these children a safe place to learn.

Happy New Year from the Thade School Project Team!

We would like to share some important updates about the future of our work.

Over the past years, the village of Thade has changed a lot. When we started, it lacked electricity, running water and internet. Today, the area has developed significantly. Many families have moved to Kathmandu, and most children now attend schools elsewhere. As a result, the Thade school has now closed.

This change allows us to focus our energy where it is most needed:

- A new school in Kathmandu
We will launch a new school project to support children from rural families who have moved to the city.

- A new school in Rungli, West Bengal
Our beloved teacher and principal Abhinav has returned to Darjeeling. We are now building a new school in Rungli, a Nepalese community in West Bengal. Construction has already started, thanks to the generous support of the Volvo Employees Aid Association and the Norwegian Hull Club.

- New name: School For All
We are rebranding from The Thade School Project to School For All.
This page and our Swedish fundraising organisation will be updated to reflect the new name.

- A stronger team
Our team has grown, bringing more experience and resources to support our mission.

Winter is here!!
A long year again has come to an end with a beautiful yet freezing winter, with temperatures reaching as low as -6 below freezing point.
Thank you to all the teachers who have done such an amazing job of teaching and also helping the students grow up to become individuals by not only teaching but also giving them great value and respect
We wish all the teachers and students HAPPY HOLIDAYS

A day to be cherished😁
Annual School Picnic with the children and the teachers at Gauritaap(30 minutes drive from the school).
A day with Hearty meal prepared by the teachers with love and joy, a short but a beautiful drive to the picnic spot, singing and dancing by the students, with fun games.
Everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest and are now filled with excitement and motivation for the days to come.
Thank you to all our female teachers and Michael Pfeiffer for this awesome picnic.

A day filled with laughter, fun and love.
A short but very sweet dance show held at the school with few but exceptionally well dances choreographed by the teachers and performed by the students, also the cake was a surprise for the students from Michael Pfeiffer and the students absolutely loved it.
