45-Day Beauty Parlor Training for Gender and Minority Communities
Kanchanpur тАУ A 45-day beauty parlor (makeup) training program has been formally inaugurated with the objective of enhancing the capacity and skills of gender and minority communities.
The program was officially launched on Thursday, Baisakh 17, at the hall of Sahayatra Nepal in Katan, Ward No. 18 of Bhimdatta Municipality, Mahendranagar. The training is organized by the Gender Equality and Social Welfare Section of the Office of the Municipal Executive, Bhimdatta Municipality, Kanchanpur, in coordination with Sahayatra Nepal.
The inauguration program, chaired by Chief Administrative Officer Hari Singh Dhami, was attended by Women Development Officer Kunti Lekhak, Sahayatra Nepal Executive Member Manish Bik, Program Coordinator Chales Bon Sijapati, trainer Keshav Dagaura, and representatives from minority communities.
Addressing the program, Chief Administrative Officer Dhami urged participants to become self-reliant through skill development and to move toward professional careers. He also expressed the municipalityтАЩs commitment to providing necessary support in the future.
Similarly, Sahayatra Nepal Program Coordinator Chales Bon Sijapati expressed gratitude to Bhimdatta Municipality for its coordination and support in capacity building and skill development initiatives. The training is expected to empower participants, creating opportunities for employment and self-employment.
