We NHC KIST MCTH conducted a substance abuse awareness program for grades 7–9 students of Sangrila School, Gwarko, addressing causes, effects, methods, and solutions of addiction. Led by Secretary Ekata Shah, our amazing team — Aditya Mahato, Sakshi Thakur, and volunteers Aahana Shrestha, Mishal Kunwar, Guddu Majhi — brought the session to life, including an impactful awareness roleplay.

We sincerely thank the school for the opportunity and our amazing team for their dedication in making this program meaningful.

🦷Smiles that last a Lifetime🪥
Yesterday was all about bright smiles and curious minds! NHC- KIST and NHC- PAHS came together for a fun and interactive dental hygiene session at Adarsha Vidya Mandir School, Lalitpur .

We had the chance to engage with around 280 students from Classes 6 and 7, sharing simple but important tips on oral health , busting some common myths, and showing them how to brush and floss the right way.

It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn — because a little awareness today can lead to healthier smiles tomorrow! 😄✨

🩺🚭 Team KIST at Jugal English Medium School — learning, sharing, and growing together.

As part of a public health initiative, an anti-to***co awareness program was conducted by Kripa Bhandari and her team from KIST Medical College at Jugal English Medium School.

The session focused on creating awareness about:
• The health risks associated with smoking and to***co use
• How to***co impacts both the body and the mind
• Ways to build confidence and say “no” in real-life situations

Through interactive conversations and student engagement, the goal was not just to inform — but to empower students with the knowledge to make healthier choices.

We’re grateful for the warm welcome from the school and the enthusiasm of the students.

Fighting to***co, one session at a time!

Nepal Health Corps of KIST Medical College is proud to have conducted another impactful session on May 30th as part of the nationwide Anti-Tobacco Campaign at Adarsha Vidhya Sadan School, Gwarkho, Lalitpur.

We reached 140 students; boys- 76 and girls-64 of class 7-10.

Through awareness and education, we are empowering youth to choose health over harm. Together, let’s build a to***co-free future.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to second year MBBS students; Binisha Tamrakar, Samriddhi Acharya, Aastha Jha and Prakriti Poudel for facilitating this session. We also want to thank AVS school for their warm welcome and cooperation.

As part of the nationwide Anti-Tobacco Campaign led by Nepal Health Corps in collaboration with the World Federation of Public Health Associations, Nepal Health Corps of KIST Medical College conducted an impactful awareness session to the students of grade 8 & 9 at Land Star English School, Besisahar-8, Lamjung, empowering students with knowledge to say no to to***co and yes to a healthier future.

To mark this World Leprosy Day, Nepal Health Corps of KIST Medical College in collaboration with KIST-AMR and Kist Medical Students Society(KMSS) is organizing a role-play program focusing on stigma surrounding leprosy, debunking myths and promoting mental well- being of affected individuals under the leadership of Pratikshya Rijal(Ambassador NHC-KIST).
