Compassionate Hands For Nepal - CHFN Working In The Field Of Resilient Livelihood, Protection & Advocacy, Education, Child Holistic Dev

CHFN exists to work in the field of education, awareness and health targeting the vulnerable children who come from economically poor families. In addition, it also produces children Television Programs and Literature's. Of late, CHFN has been involved in relief, and the reconstruction works in some areas affected by thedisastrous quake of April 25.

Our Program Manager, Mr. Lok, reported at 11:00 AM (15th September 2026) from the affected area where Compassionate Hands For Nepal, in Partnering with the local government, supported the installation of a zipline across the Trishuli River.
We are grateful to our prayer partners and supporters whose continued prayers and support make such life-saving initiatives possible.
We are thankful to share that, as expected, the zipline service began approximately two hours later, providing an important lifeline for affected communities.

Today 14 September 2026, in coordination with Bidur Municipality and the Nepal Army, CHFN has begun installing a zipline across the Trishuli River, helping people safely cross the river to access essential emergency and health services.
In areas where roads and bridges are no longer accessible, every connection matters.
With the support of the Nepal Army, essential relief materials for zipline have also been transported across the river by drone to reach families on the other side.
Thank you to all our partners, supporters, and prayer partners for standing with us and helping make this response possible.
Together, we are helping the hurting and bringing hope to communities affected by the floods.

Distributed bed mattresses, blankets, pillows, and bedsheets as relief supplies to 200 flood-affected families in Bidur Municipality Wards 7, 8, and 9.

Additionally, in Ward 10, distributed water filters, solar lights, and hygiene kits to 80 flood-affected families.

Today, on 1st September 2026, we were able to support 120 flood-affected and displaced families in Bidhur Municipalityโ€“7 & 9, Nuwakot, with essential food and kitchen items to help meet their immediate needs during this difficult time.

Each family received:

๐ŸŒพ 2 kg Dal
๐Ÿฌ 0.5 kg Sugar
๐Ÿซ˜ 1 kg Soybean
๐ŸŒฟ Turmeric, Tea & Mixed Masala
๐Ÿง‚ 1 kg Salt
๐Ÿซ— 1 Liter Cooking Oil
๐Ÿชฃ 1 Plastic Bucket (20 Liter)

Each family also received essential kitchen utensils:
