We are pleased to share our recent article published in Archives of Sexual Behavior.
The study uses data from Nepal’s first national HIV bio-behavioral survey among male labor migrants working in India.
It looks at high-risk s*xual contacts in Nepal and India and shows why HIV and STI prevention programs need to better reach migrant workers, especially those who spend long periods away from home and have limited access to health services.
The study recommends targeted HIV and STI prevention efforts for male labor migrants, with services that reach them where they live, work, and travel.
