काठमाडौंका विभिन्न सुकुम्बासी बस्ती हटाइँदा सयौं परिवार विस्थापित भएका छन्। यस अवस्थामा महिला, बालबालिका, ज्येष्ठ नागरिक, अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्ति तथा गर्भवती महिला र नवजात शिशुको सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा र सम्मानजनक बसोबास सुनिश्चित गर्नु राज्यको जिम्मेवारी हो।
हामीले सरकारसँग मानवीय, लैङ्गिक तथा बालमैत्री दृष्टिकोणबाट तत्काल प्रभावकारी कदम चाल्न आग्रह गरेका छौं।

वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था बिना भूमिहीन नागरिकलाई विस्थापित गर्नु संविधानले सुनिश्चित गरेको आवास र सम्मानपूर्वक बाँच्न पाउने अधिकारमाथिको स्पष्ट उल्लंघन हो। यसले विशेषगरी महिला, बालबालिका र ज्येष्ठ नागरिकलाई अझ बढी जोखिममा पार्छ।

विरोधाभासपूर्ण सूचनाहरूले जनतामा थप अन्योल र त्रास सिर्जना गरिरहेका छन् । यस्तो संवेदनशील विषयमा राज्य र मिडिया दुवै अझ जिम्मेवार हुन आवश्यक छ।

लोकतन्त्र केवल मनाउने दिन होइन, यो प्रत्येक नागरिकको गरिमा सुरक्षित गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता हो।

The Association on Rights to Play Nepal has been officially formed to protect, promote, and institutionalize every child’s right to play in Nepal. The national association was formally announced today through a virtual program held in collaboration with its founding members: Child Nepal, Change Action Nepal, samrakshan Nepal, United Community Nepal ,CricketAssociation of the Blind (CAB-Nepal), Khetan Sports Foundation (KSF), Disha Foundation, Voice of Children, and ROYM-Nepal. This collective effort marks an important milestone in advancing child rights and creating a future where every child in Nepal can grow, learn, and thrive through safe and meaningful play.
