Women Economic Empowerment Campaign Project This project has ended. CARE Nepal is implementing a nine months campaign initiatives for women economic empowerment (1 October – end of July 2016).

CARE Nederland signed a partnership with the H & M Conscious Foundation in 2014, with the aim of joining efforts to promote the development of the full potential of women through business development. Women’s economic empowerment is one of the keys to addressing poverty and questioning the social fabric. This campaign is there to identify role model women from socially excluded, poor, marginalized

and geographically isolated segments of the communities who thus become one of the key actors of market chain. This campaign will inspire women to women entrepreneurs, overcome barriers and will support thousands of women in Nepal to be self-reliance. Our campaign along with the core work of CARE Nepal will increase women leadership including her access to economic empowerment.
