Happening Now!
First Panel Session on Policy Coherence & LLA

Organised under UK in Nepal funded RAIN Programme, today’s first panel discussion brought together experts from Mott MacDonald and DCA Nepal to reflect on learning actions and explore the way forward for stronger CCA–DRRM policy coherence in Nepal.

The discussion brought together diverse expertise, featuring Pratap Kumar Pathak, Prem Narayan Kandel, and Sanot Adhikari, and was facilitated by Banshi Acharya representing government, policy, and civil society perspectives.

"Climate change is global, but solutions must be financed through strong national policies, yet there remains a massive funding gap-up to 90% in addressing it.”

🎉 Wishing You All a Happy Tihar! 🎉

Let’s celebrate this Tihar in an eco-friendly way by choosing natural marigold flowers 🌼 over plastic ones.

An inspiring initiative by the Sundar Farmers Group in Kanchanpur District, supported by Nnswa Kanchanpur/ DCA Nepal, is promoting marigold farming to reduce plastic waste during the festival. By supporting local farmers, we can make our celebrations more sustainable and meaningful.
💚 Say no to plastic. Say yes to sustainability.
