A district-level interaction program on the role of local governments and future action plans for implementing the National Policy and Action Plan to End Child Marriage 2082 was successfully conducted on 17 April 2026.
The program brought together representatives from six local governments, government officials, child club members, and other stakeholders. Participants expressed strong commitment to develop and implement effective action plans to end child marriage.

Voice of Children (VOC) is proud to be part of the "Violence Ends With Us" Asia-Pacific Youth-Led Summit on Ending Violence Against Children, held from 14–16 April 2026 in Rizal, Philippines.
Organized by the Children, this summit brought together 150 young advocates aged 13–25 from across the Asia-Pacific to address critical issues affecting children:
▪️ Child Labour
▪️ Child, Early, and Forced Marriage
▪️ Corporal Punishment
▪️ Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
Over three days, young leaders engaged in discussions, shared learning experiences, and participated in a regional hackathon, co-creating practical, youth-led solutions.
Voice of Children believes in the power of youth leadership. Participating in this summit reaffirmed the importance of creating spaces where children and young people are heard and lead the change.
This experience reinforced an important truth: meaningful change is only possible when children and young people are involved in shaping the solutions that affect their lives.
VOC is honored to have been part of this collective effort and remains committed to building a safer, violence-free future for every child.

All children are affected by sexual violence, but boys continue to be overlooked and cannot access support.

This , we are advocating with over 27 organisations in over 22 countries. We’re in our communities to break the stigma and to acknowledge that boys suffer, too.

On this occasion, Voice of Children, in coordination with Violence Against Boys (VAB) Network, also organized a discussion program to raise awareness on the importance of recognizing and addressing sexual violence against boys, encouraging open dialogue within the community. Alongside this, an art showcase featuring drawings created by children was held, providing them a platform to express their thoughts, feelings, and understanding of safety, protection, and dignity.

Shattering the myth: Boys suffer, too.
Talk about sexual violence, support healing, and prevent abuse.

Too often, boys remain “invisible” in conversations around sexual violence, silenced by gender norms, stigma, fear, and lack of trust in systems meant to protect them. Many choose to confide only in peers, while formal reporting mechanisms remain underused due to stigma, disbelief, and institutional gaps.

This silence is not absence; it is a sign of barriers.

On April 12, 2026, children joyfully celebrated the International Day for Street Children at the Socialization Center in Lubhu, Lalitpur. 🎉
The day was filled with creativity and happiness as children showcased their talents through singing, dancing, and drama performances. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to connect, share experiences, and celebrate together.
Children, peer educators, family members, and social workers all came together, making the event truly meaningful and memorable.

इटहरी । इन्टरनेट सेवा प्रदायकहरूलाई लक्षित गर्दै बाल यौन दुरुपयोग, अनलाइन सुरक्षा सम्बन्धी अन्तरक्रिया कार्यक्रम इटहरीमा सम्पन्न भएको छ ।
भ्वाइस अफ चिल्डेनको आयोजनामा सम्पन्न कार्यक्रमले डिजिटल माध्यममा बालबालिकाको सुरक्षाबारे गम्भीर छलफल गरेको थियो ।
होटल इन्टुरिस्टमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा इन्टरनेट सेवा प्रदायक कम्पनीका प्रतिनिधिहरूको उल्लेख्य सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा अनलाइन माध्यमबाट हुने बाल यौन दुरुपयोगका चुनौती, यसको रोकथामका उपाय तथा सेवा प्रदायकहरूको भूमिका लगायतका विषयमा इलाका प्रहरी कार्यलय इटहरीका प्रहरी निरिक्षक दुर्गा खनालले जानकारी गराएका थिए ।
कार्यक्रममा सहभागीहरूले इन्टरनेट प्रयोगको बढ्दो पहुँचसँगै बालबालिकामा पर्ने जोखिमलाई न्यूनीकरण गर्न सबै पक्षबीच सहकार्य आवश्यक रहेकोमा जोड दिएका थिए। विशेषगरी सेवा प्रदायकहरूले आफ्ना प्लेटफर्महरू सुरक्षित बनाउँदै सचेतना अभिवृद्धिमा सक्रिय भूमिका खेल्नुपर्ने धारणा राखिएको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा भ्वाईस अफ चिल्ड्रेन वि.सं २०५७ सालमा स्थापित भएको गैरसरकारी संस्था हो । यसने सडक, यौन दुव्र्यवहार तथा जोखिममा परेका बालबालिकाको उद्दार र संरक्षण गर्नुका साथै परिवार तथा समुदायमा पुनर्मिलन गरी उनीहरुको जीवनस्तर सुधार गर्न सहयोग पुयाउँदै आाएको भ्वाईस अफ चिल्ड्रेनका कार्यक्रम साहयक प्रकास परिवारले बताए ।
उनले सडक बालबालिकाको संरक्षण गरि जोखिम अवस्थामा रहेका परिवारहरुको क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गरी बात्मनिर्भर बनाउन सहयोग हुने क्रियाकलापहरु सन्चालन गर्दै आएको सभ्यदृश्य मार्फत जानकारी गराएका थिए ।
कार्यक्रममा बाल संरक्षणका विभिन्न पक्षबारे प्रस्तुति दिँदै सरोकारवालाहरूले कानुनी व्यवस्था, प्रविधिको प्रयोग तथा अभिभावक र विद्यालयको भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिएका थिए ।
