Civil Society discussion on the draft Child Labor Act developed by Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security. At Federal level, recommendations were developed in presence of NACG Nepal, NCPA, World Vision, CSOs Forum on SDG 8.7, Global March against Child Labour, DCI Nepal, NTUC, Good Weave Cetrigication, Good Weave Foundation, Biswas Nepal, CWISH, Swatantrataabhiyan Nepal along with youth representative. The next discussion will take place at the provincial level.The recommendations gathered will be submitted to MoLESs.

Collective advocacy for justice, dignity, and equal rights ✊
Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal, together with the CSOs Forum on SDG 8.7 and NCGR, submitted an appeal letter to CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, and NCP, urging them to include strong commitments in their manifestos to end human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour, and to meaningfully uphold girls’ rights.
This initiative reflects our shared commitment to ensuring safe, dignified, and inclusive futures for all.”
