On 9–10 June 2026, Nagarik Aawaz actively co-organized the Second National Memory Conference 2026 alongside 24 organizations at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

We worked to create a shared platform for victims, survivors, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society to reflect on Nepal's ten-year armed conflict and foster intergenerational dialogue on memory, accountability, and transitional justice.

Today, we gathered at Cafe Cheeno, Patan Dhoka for a reflective discussion on "Nepal's Movement: Human Rights Perspectives and Possibilities". The session was led by Senior Advocate and Public Interest Lawyer Mr. Raju Prasad Chapagai.

This discussion is part of Nagarik Aawaz's ongoing commitment to creating regular spaces for grounded dialogue on contemporary issues. Through these conversations, we continue to bring together diverse voices, from communities, civil society, and beyond, to collectively reflect, question, and advocate for a just and peaceful Nepal.
