Today, we are celebrating 26 years of Aasaman Nepal’s journey, a milestone that reflects our journey from a small team in Janakpur to an organization working across many districts of Nepal. Over these years, we have remained reliable in our commitment to advocating for children’s rights, education, health, and improving the lives of families. Every step has been driven by love, hope, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves a bright future, and we are grateful for the support of our dedicated team, partners, volunteers, and well-wishers who have walked alongside us.

Reflecting on last year’s 25th anniversary, we celebrated our achievements with a significant event that showcased the progress we have made. It was a meaningful occasion to thank everyone who contributed to our journey and to acknowledge the collective effort that has encouraged our growth. This celebration served as a motivation to renew our dedication, inspiring us to work with even greater energy and focus in the years ahead.

As we begin our 26th year, we are excited about expanding our reach and impact. We plan to introduce innovative ideas, collaborate with more partners, and extend our programs to more communities across Nepal. Our ultimate goal remains to build a society that is fairer, happier, and where every child and family has the opportunity to succeed. We are committed to working tirelessly to turn this vision into reality, creating a better future for all children.

A passionate commitment to positive change is essential for building a sustainable future, and collective action can make a significant impact. World Environment Day 2025 inspires individuals, communities, and organizations worldwide to take meaningful steps to end plastic pollution, raise awareness, and implement innovative solutions for environmental protection.

Aasaman Nepal dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainable development, commemorated World Environment Day today with a special celebration focused on raising awareness among school children through educational activities, interactive discussions, and a plantation initiative in collaboration with schools.

These initiatives reflect Aasaman Nepal’s commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious communities and inspiring the next generation to actively participate in protecting their surroundings.

On this special occasion of World Donkey Day – May 8th, we, the team behind Project Gallop For Good, extend our heartfelt wishes to everyone who respects and values these gentle, hardworking animals.

This meaningful initiative is proudly funded by The Donkey Sanctuary and led by Aasaman Nepal, in close partnership with AHTCS, Health Concern, and PESWAN. The project is currently being implemented in the Jajarkot district of Karnali Province—a region where donkeys, mules and horses are more than just animals; they are lifelines for families and communities. Over time, we aim to expand this work to other districts with high populations of equines.

Project Gallop For Good is about more than animal welfare. It brings together equine welfare, human wellbeing, and environmental conservation—a true One Welfare approach that uplifts both people and animals together.

This World Donkey Day, let’s pause to honor their contributions, raise our voices for their welfare, and work together to build a kinder world where every donkey is treated with dignity and care.
