Meet Sabina Lama, one of the 72,000 girls that we helped with her hearing, a bright young soul from Dolakha. Until recently, hearing loss made it difficult for Sabina to communicate, learn, and fully engage with the world.
With the support of Ear Care Nepal, Sabina received life-changing ear surgery at age 10 for one ear, and returned at 11 for surgery on the other. Today, she can hear clearly, attend school with confidence, and share laughter and stories with her loved ones. Her family’s joy is immeasurable.
Stories like Sabina’s remind us why our work matters:
● Early intervention changes lives
● Accessible hearing care empowers families
● Awareness and support create lasting impact
On this day, we honor everyone working to protect and restore hearing. Together, let’s continue giving every child the gift of sound, connection, and opportunity.
