Circularity in fabric began as a small idea when Danfe stepped into textile manufacturing. While fabric waste has always existed, meaningful solutions for repurposing it remain limited despite growing conversations around sustainability.
Last year, we piloted an 8-step fabric waste recycling process and successfully recycled over 300 kgs of waste fabric, while also integrating locally sourced sheep wool from Khotang into the process.
We’re excited to begin the next phase of production and continue building sustainable, locally rooted solutions. Stay tuned with us as we update our work on Circularity in Fabric in this space!
