A new space for the people of 📍 Birendranagar, Surkhet 🌿

Milan Park has officially opened in Birendranagar, creating a welcoming public space where people can gather, connect and enjoy their city.

But this is about more than a park. It is about making urban spaces more inclusive, accessible and climate-resilient, with the needs and experiences of communities particularly women shaping how cities grow.

The opening brought together local government, communities and development partners, demonstrating the power of collaboration to turn local priorities into tangible improvements in people's everyday lives.
