On the final day of the Project Pedal Paatshala Training of Trainers, bicycles were officially handed over to all participants marking the beginning of their journey as community cycling advocates.

The distribution ceremony was graced by the presence of the Acting Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitrasen Adhikari, alongside our dedicated TOT participants, lead facilitator Sailendra Dongol, and Program Officer Prashant Neupane.

Each participant also received a training package designed to support their learning and community outreach as they take cycling advocacy forward at the grassroots level.

From training to action the journey continues on two wheels 🚴‍♀️💚

🚲📚 Training of trainers Day 6 & 7

Cycling education goes beyond just learning to ride.

Over the past two days, our trainers worked on planning for:
✅ Bicycle Library setup and management
✅ School Bicycle Club formation
✅ Activity planning for long-term student engagement

These systems will help schools create safe and structured spaces where students can access bicycles, continue learning, and stay engaged in cycling beyond the classroom.

Pedal Paathsala is about more than lessons—it’s about building systems that keep cycling accessible and sustainable in schools.

Training of Trainers Day 4 & 5 | First Aid Training

Safety is a core part of becoming a bicycle trainer. On Day 4 & 5 of the Pedal Paathsala Training of Trainers, participants completed a session on basic first aid and emergency response.

As our trainers prepare to lead Pedal Power Lessons in schools, first aid knowledge is essential for effective risk management, accident preparedness, and safer learning environments during both classroom sessions and outdoor practice rides.

Building confident trainers also means building safer programs. 🚲⛑️

🌍 Our Power, Our Planet
This Earth Day, we’re reminded that real change begins with us. From the choices we make every day to the actions we take as a community, we all hold the power to protect and restore our planet.
Let’s turn awareness into action—because a healthier Earth isn’t a dream, it’s a responsibility we share. 🌱

Our Training of Trainers for Pedal Paathshala starts tomorrow and honestly, the energy has already begun. Our trainers are out in the field, meeting people, sharing ideas, and preparing to guide something meaningful.

This week isn’t just about training sessions or schedules. It’s about real people school teachers, especially women gaining the confidence, skills, and support they need to lead change in their classrooms and beyond.

Because when a woman teaches, she doesn’t just educate a classroom she uplifts families, shapes communities, and inspires futures. ❤️
