Happy International Youth Day!
Today, we celebrate the energy, creativity, and drive of young people across the Asia-Pacific region and around the globe.
Young leaders hold immense power to challenge injustice, break down barriers, and shape a more equitable future for everyone. When youth are empowered to take the lead, transformative change happens.
Within the s*x worker rights movement, our strength relies on nurturing the vision of a new generation:
1. Trust the power of young people - Recognize their capacity to innovate, mobilize, and drive meaningful progress.
2. Let young people lead - Create space at the decision-making table and pass the mic so young s*x workers can shape the future of our movement.
3. Mentor and coach - Invest time in sharing knowledge, guiding, and supporting young community members so they can grow into strong, resilient leaders.
Building a lasting movement requires investing in those who will carry the torch forward. Today and every day, let’s trust, support, and stand alongside young s*x workers as they pave the way!
