Maitri E-Shiksha Phase Two: From Literacy to Utility! 📱🚀
On 8th February 2026, the Rotaract Club of Patan Heritage and Smart Health Global took the next step in our digital empowerment journey at Krishna Mandir, Kupondole.
Building on our first session, Phase Two moved beyond the basics to focus on essential service-based applications. Our club members worked hands-on with the Mahila Samuha to learn Nagarik App, Hospital and ride apps.
By bridging the gap between technology and daily life, we are helping these women gain the digital knowledge. The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the participants continue to drive the Maitri E-Shiksha initiative forward! 🌱✨

🌍 Smart Health Global Expands Digital Literacy Program to Nepal 📱✨
In Partnership with Rotaract Club of Patan Heritage, RID 3292.

Smart Health Global is proud to announce its partnership with the Rotaract Club of Patan Heritage to launch the Digital Literacy Program in Nepal, with Maitri E-Shiksha as one of its key initiatives, marking a major milestone in our global mission to empower communities through technology.

Following the successful implementation of our Digital Literacy initiatives in Australia, this collaboration represents our first expansion into Nepal. Through this partnership, Smart Health Global is supporting Rotaract Club of Patan Heritage in delivering structured, community-focused digital education across local communities.

As part of the Digital Literacy Program, the first phase of Maitri E-Shiksha Training was successfully conducted on 17th January 2026 at Patan High School, Lalitpur, engaging 28 women from Mahila Samuha in hands-on digital smartphone literacy. The training focused on introducing participants to e-learning platforms, accessing reliable online information, and using digital tools for learning, health awareness, and daily support.

The session was led by dedicated Rotaract members, reflecting strong youth-led community service, and was graced by the presence of Ms. Sushma Khadka, Project Officer of Smart Health Global, whose guidance and encouragement added great value to the program.

This initiative aims to equip individuals, especially women and marginalized groups, with essential digital skills, enabling them to confidently participate in today’s digital world and access education and healthcare-related resources.

By combining Smart Health Global’s vision for inclusive digital health and education with Rotaract’s community-driven approach, this partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainable development and social empowerment.

Together, we are building a more connected, informed, and digitally confident Nepal. 🌱🤝

Rotaract Club of Patan Heritage with Smart Health Global successfully conducted the first phase of Maitri E-Shiksha training on 17th January 2026 at Patan High School, Lalitpur. This training focused on introducing women from Mahila Samuha to e-learning through digital smartphone literacy, helping them gain confidence in using smartphones for learning, information, and daily support.

The session was conducted by our club members, reflecting youth-led community service, and was graced by the presence of Ms. Sushma Khadka, Nepal Representative of Smart Health Global, whose support and encouragement added great value to the program. The active participation and curiosity of the Mahila Samuha members made the session interactive and meaningful.

This marks an important step toward empowering women through digital education and is the first part of a phased Maitri E-Shiksha initiative aimed at creating an informed, connected, and confident community. 📱🌱

On 18th of January ,2026 we successfully completed the official District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Visit for the year in the presence of District Rotaract Representative Rtr.Dinesh Gaire, DS Rtr.Sairas Adhikari, DRR AIDE Rtr.Sandeep Chhetri, District Public Image Chair Agran Amatya, Rotary club of Patan Heritage’s President Rtn.Pradeep Shrestha,Zone 13 ZRR Rtr.Surakshya Niraula, Zone 12 ZRR Rtr.Rojina Dangi, Charter President Rtr.Yug Jung Karki and all of the BODs and proposed members .
