The CEO of SGCP Nepal participated in a stakeholder consultation organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports, in the presence of Hon. Minister Sasmita Pokhrel and Hon. MP Sarita Mahato. The discussion focused on strengthening services for children with neurological disorders, including prevention, early identification, therapy and rehabilitation, inclusive education, skilled human resources, and wider access to services across Nepal.
SGCP Nepal remains committed to promoting inclusive, accessible, and sustainable services for children with cerebral palsy and their families.

We had the distinct honor of presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Krishna Bhakta Shrestha in recognition of his extraordinary dedication and service to the Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP), Nepal. As the Founding Secretary of our Executive Committee, Mr. Krishna Bhakta Shrestha has devoted over three decades of continuous service to the organization's progressive growth. His remarkable and distinguished contributions have been vital in advancing the rehabilitation of children affected by cerebral palsy and neurological conditions, as well as providing steadfast support to their carers.
We are deeply grateful for his visionary leadership, passion, and lifelong commitment to our cause. Thank you, Mr. Krishna Bhakta Shrestha, for being a guiding light for SGCP Nepal!

Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Anil Patil, Founder and Executive Director of Carers Worldwide UK, for his visit to Nepal from 26–29 July 2026. During his visit, the core team met at TPO Nepal to discuss the vision, priorities, and future roadmap of Carers Alliance Nepal. Anil Ji also visited the Dalit with Disabilities Association Nepal (DDAN), where he had meaningful discussions with the team. He later joined a productive meeting with Nawa Agaman Samrakshak Samaj at SGCP Nepal.
These visits and discussions strengthened partnerships among organizations, encouraged the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to recognizing, supporting, and empowering carers across Nepal.
Thank you, Anil Ji, for your valuable time, continued support, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of carers.

We’re Growing Our Services!
We are pleased to share that, starting today, physiotherapy services will be available every Thursday at our City Clinic, Bluebird, Thapathali. Together with our pediatric neurology service, this expanded service will provide children with cerebral palsy and their families with more accessible, coordinated, and quality rehabilitation care. Our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated team, and special appreciation to Dr. Chandra Lekha Tuladhar for her generous support in making this initiative possible.

The Kavre Carers Group held its regular monthly meeting on 12 July 2026, welcoming new members, reviewing progress, and planning livelihood activities through agriculture while strengthening savings and financial independence. SGCP Nepal successfully convened its General Staff Meeting today in the gracious presence of Executive Committee Secretary, Mr. Mahem Rajbhandari, and Executive Committee Member and former CEO, Mr. Bimal Lal Shrestha. Discussions focused on enhancing organizational systems, reinforcing staff accountability, promoting professional discipline, donor engagement, and strengthening our commitment to high-quality services.
