A meaningful milestone was celebrated in Parbat as Modi Rural Municipality was formally declared a Child-Friendly Local Governance (CFLG) Rural Municipality on September 17.

The program brought together local government, schools, students, community groups, development organizations, and other stakeholders.

The celebration also featured an Education Fair and Agriculture Exhibition, where students showcased their creativity and communities presented locally produced natural-farming products.

Certificates were presented to recognize creative work, valuable products, and active participation.

Communities can create spaces where children are heard, supported, and able to thrive.

National Children’s Day was celebrated across six schools in three municipalities of Mugu District through rallies and Deuda performances highlighting child rights and child marriage. The Deuda program brought together 192 children, with many more joining the wider celebrations.
